    What does swConfigPropertySuppressFeatures mean?

There is this enumeration "swInConfigurationOpts_e Enumeration".

It contains, among others, the entry "swConfigPropertySuppressFeatures" (integer value 0).

What is it for? When should I use it?

These are options associated with configurations.  There are many API methods that accept values from this enumeration.  Not all options are allowed in all API methods that use this enumeration.  In a model, if you right click a configuration and select 'Properties', you will see some of these options under the 'Advanced Options' heading.  That particular option is titled 'Suppress new features and mates'.  When selected, any features created in the current configuration will be suppressed in all other configurations.
