I have a trick for you that will work. Rather than trying to move all your lights and cameras for this turntable, let's simply move the pivot point of your model.
Any Turntable animation or keyframed 360 spin will always rotate around the pivot point of your model. Since you've already set up your project (camera, lights, etc), let's simply move the pivot point of your model to the exact middle of your model. All you have to do is click this button in the Models Tab with your desired model selected:
Also, it's best practice to click each of these buttons once, right when you start each new Visualize project. This will make sure to avoid any of these issues. Make sure the yellow Model selection tool is enabled in the Main Toolbar, then select your desired model. Then go over to the Palette and click these buttons in the Models Tab:
Hope this helps!
This is the right answer ,
the Triangle is forever ingrained in my brain Snap to Floor , Model, Center and I use it in every project.
I think I mentioned this at SWW at your session but since its a highly used technique.....a magic button would increase efficiency by %60
or a hot key....I would be okay with a hot key.
That worked perfectly, thank you. Do you know if there is any way to make the lights I have in place spin with the turntable as well?
I'm not sure if I understand your question. There are a variety of ways to do this, based on the desired effect.
1. Light/Camera is stationary and the model spins (Turntable or Rotation Animation on the model)
2. Model is stationary and the Light/Camera spin (Focus Rotation Animation)
3) Camera stationary and the Model/Light spin (have the Light 'Follow' and 'Aim' at the model, rather than the camera
