I have a question, how would you go about doing a render like the photo shown in either PV 360 or visualise?
There are many ways to do it but if it were me.....
I'd create a render that has the materials/lighting like the left side and then create a render that has the wireframe like the right side. Then I'd use Photoshop to combine the 2 images.
In this particular image its looks like the right side is a SolidWorks drawing view or screen shot with the view settings set to show hidden lines.. PhotoView can do contours but it can't show the hidden lines and Visualize can't do contours or the hidden lines. If you need to use a SolidWorks view (screen shot or drawing view) for one half you will need the camera to match perfectly (or really close) between the drawing view and render view. I think this would be easier to achieve in SolidWorks/PV360 than SolidWorks/Visualize.
I agree ,
at this point in time this would be my workflow as well , hopefully we can see a feature like this added to visualize soon, I believe it has been suggested as an Enhancement request.
The images below were done in PV360 exactly as Rob is describing.
cool, thanks guys
