I'm running SW 2015.
I just started running into an issue today that I've never seen before and it's only happening with one part. I have an assembly with a few pipe routes in it that use the same flange in multiple places. I go to delete one and it deletes every one of those flanges in the assembly.
I've tried rebooting a couple times as I know that works with some of these odd SW behaviors but no luck.

No, I just dropped them in like I would any other routing component. Other ones that got deleted were from other piping assemblies not tied to this one at all, be it by patterns or mirroring.
I did find a work-around though - replacing the one I wanted to delete with the same component but with a slightly different name (added a suffix) and then deleted it with no issues. I'm wondering if it was a one-time fluke, if I have some setting checked off somewhere, or if the part is corrupted in some way.
So, update - That work-around did work to just remove the file from the assembly as needed BUT there are a couple of other things going on:
1) Our BOM export for our PDM system cannot export this assembly unless I delete all of the piping.
2) This "only want to delete one but end up deleting ALL instances" issue is happening with this flange and the size below it in other piping assemblies.
3) Once I delete and the other instances are removed, they're still displayed in the tree but no longer in the graphics window, and...
4) If I try to open one of the above flanges that's still in the tree, it's just a graphically "blank" file but the features are still there.
Since flanges are pretty simple, I was considering just remaking them from a fresh file but I wanted to list these other symptoms in case they raised any flags or if someone else was having this issue.

Did you pattern or use the mirror components using the part that you want to delete as the seed part??
