We are upgrading this weekend to Solidworks/PDM 2016 SP5 from 2015 SP3. In the previous versions we were able to set up separate installations for contributor, viewer and editor licenses since epdm was seperate. Has anyone had success doing this via admin images in 2016? I have tried a few tests on this and it seems to work, basically it is creating an admin image with just the PDM client and then changing the image settings for viewer and contributor. I am looking to send out links to the users on Monday morning and this is the 1 thing that I haven't been able to test thoroughly.
If anyone has any info on this or the best way to deploy this update as described above, please let me know
