How to convert solidwork files of assembly and associated parts into parasolid format at once instead of converting them part by part?
I do not have an answer for you but I was just curious as to why you would want or need to do this conversion? Is it purely so that it can be used in other software or is there another reason?
I need to program those solid-work files by using Mastercam as I am switching Solid-edge to Solid-work.
Solid-edge files can be loaded directly in mastercam but not solid-work files.
I think if you check that box, it will create a single parasolid of the entire assembly.
However, when someone brings the parasolid into Solidworks, it will recreate the assembly hierarchy and store all the parts/sub assemblies in the same folder.
The other alternative is to save the entire assembly as a part file first, then create your parasolid.
