I'm trying to simulate a little element that is being strapped onto a pipe.
The idea is to see how does the strapped element bends in sympathy with the pipe.
I can just plug the whole assembly and perform an indirect check, but I'm afraid of wasting too much time working the mesh and in the end having unreal results do to circumstances like material differences, erroneous constraints, etc.
I was thinking of just analyzing the strapped element individually but I can't figure out a way to set a fixture such that it resembles the pipe changing shape as it bends.
