Maybe i'm not familiar with the searching on the site, but I haven;t been able to find an answer. We had someone from a local location come in and train us on PDM application, cards, workflows, etc.. One of the things mentioned was in Windows Explorer, we could hide certain files that are in certain file states. For instance, our ECN folder that has all the ECN's. Some are in Completed state, some in Materials or Operations review, some in other states.
So, I'm trying to hide all the files that are not in a specific state on a few users computers. So that he only sees the ECN's he needs to work on specifically rather then try to find them. For the time being, I have just had him sort by state, but it would be nice to hide them as more and more ECN's are created. I ask, because when the trainer was here, he mentioned it, but I have not been able to find a way to do it and it wasn't on our scope of training.
