i havent used solid works for about a month now. It started today when i opened it for the first time after the month without using it.
And my gpu is a nvidia geforce gtx 960m.
I have tried to change some stuff in the nvidia controller, but after that did not work, i resetted the setting so they where default againg.
i also tried the repair tool from solid works. but afther that was about 50% compleet it gave an error and said to save summarylog and contact the tech support.
So thats what has happend. I hope you know whats going on, cause i sure don't.

You may want to check out this thread then (Slow performance with GTX960m in SW2016 ) as there appears to be a lot of slow performance since a recent NVidia driver release a couple weeks ago. Consensus is that updating your drive with the latest of www.geforce.com or rolling back your driver to the previous installed version is able to help
Thanks man, I installed the correct driver, and after a bit of fiddling with solidworks it started working like it used to.
You saved me man. Really, thank you
He Paul,
1. I went to the nvidia site,
2. Then in the tab drivers i clicked for all drivers
3. i searched for my specific geforce
4. and then pressed download
This was the site with the specific driver i downloaded: NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce Game Ready Driver WHQL
Hope this will help people in the future.
