Is there a way to get a coordinate system on my template with out having to draw one?

I assume you are not wanting to create a new coordinate system for every part you create.
You could just save the coordinate system in the template and it will be there for every part.
just start a new part and insert the coordinate system then File, Save As and change the Save as Type to .prtdot and save it in the folder with you other templets
