Geodesic shape for tank dome

Hi everyone,

 

It's all the day I'm trying to solve this problem: i need to model a tank with isotensoid end (for filament winding production).

 

Someone could help me? I think that isotensoid end it's like to say geodesic dome and i find this equation r*sin(a)=constant where r is the meridian radius and a the azimuth angle, but i can't traduce that to a real curve...

 

i think the best way could be to use dome function and set some control points derived from calculations...but i don't know how...

 

Could someone help me?
