Keep getting this message never had this issue with SW14. Update drive by following download link still says the same thing, download driver from manufacturer still get warning. Same video card i had with SW14. So which driver do i run, i see no change at all, or do i just disable the useless notification.
Reno... if this is a Windows message.. do not upgrade it.. imho.. if all is well,.. don't change it. Stay with what works.. it's not worth it.. unless.. you just have to play the latest version of DOOM!?

You get this message because the installed driver on your computer is not the recommended SW graphics driver for your videocard. Sometimes windows may push a new driver to your computer in the background through windows update. It is recommended that you install the driver from SW to make sure the program works properly on your machine.
Also note that there are different drivers for different versions of SW and Windows OS, so if you did upgrade from SW2014 to SW2017 for instance, the driver should be upgraded also.

Also with any windows install i have ever used the first thing is do is disable any automatic updat. Using SW2016 and the driver I instill is what Dassault Systèmes pushes to my PC.

AMD GPU requires you to download a special software and driver remover tool, uninstalling is not adequate.
I no longer get the warning of not having an up to date drive even though it was up to date.
