When I work on a car and export it then go into a different file and import that same model it looses all the settings under the materials. Any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated! Included is screenshot before export and after import.

Hi Chris,
This is an easy fix.
BACKSTORY: Exporting a Visualize project as an OBJ or FBX makes all the materials 'Generic' to import easier into other CAD or rendering packages. Opening up that exported file back into Visualize isn't recommended, since you'll see all your materials import as this Generic material type.
SOLUTION: Simply import your Visualize .SVPJ into your active Visualize project. This can be done by clicking 'File > Import...'
