maybe I am missing something but I have not been able to find a way to fill the pdf data card in EPDM from the model upon publish. I would prefer to keep our system to a single point of entry and I think that should include the data card information in the pdf as well.
any ideas would be great. I did find a dispatch script that could copy data card fields but it only worked with the @ tab and I would rather have it automatic.

thanks ill give that a try, I am wondering how this will work with multiple configuration assemblies? my understanding was that the task would only publish the active config and in that case would not be applicable in this situation.
You can specify the configurations used in the 3D views which will then publish to the 3D PDF. Configuration specific custom properties that you want to transfer to the PDF data card would be from the last saved configuration.

The Convert task used to publish the 3D PDF has the capability to map properties from the SOLIDWORKS file to the PDF in the Task configuration UI. Go to the File Card node and add variables from the source data card and the corresponding PDF data card variables.
