     Engineering drawings should require when a component is replaced that the new component would stay in the same position &

no. as the one it's replacing. From the help I would think that they're saying that if you select the "Do not change item numbers", in the bom property manager, that

that would give that desired effect. On the other hand as I checked the box it creates a new bom & adds it to the bottom of the list, & gets rid of the former no.

     When this happens you have to work with the numbering scheme of the boms etc. instead of just deal with replacing the component. I understand that

this was changed for 2015 which we use. What am I not doing?
