My laptop is win10 operation system, i7-7500U, 16G RAM, GTX950 graphic card.
Just as soon as I open the Solidworks 2016, it freezes for seconds, then it responses really slowly.
What should I do?
We have had many reports about similar behavior with NVidia GeForce cards. The consensus across the user base is that upgrading to the very latest driver from www.geforce.com is able to return the software to normal. Try that and see how it goes.
Unless I'm very much mistaken, I believe that in actual fact the correct thing to do at this stage is to roll back to a driver from about June 2016 as it is the latest drivers that are causing havoc with SW.
I've taken 9 reports of this behavior this week and all of them were cleared up with the latest driver off www.geforce.com. Your mileage may vary but updating to the latest is having a good impact.
