I am working on an assembly with a few hydraulic cylinders. What is the best practice to allow the cylinder to float to the pin centerline-centerline dimensions determined by the assembly motion? For some reason even if I make the centerline dimension exactly what is needed for the assembly, I cant mate the pin bore to the pin housing in the weldment.
See attached picture. Red Arrow is cylinder pin centerline, black arrow is where they should be but wont mate.
