I am on 2014 SolidWorks Simulation. I have an assembly I want to analyze. I get to the mesh step, and create a successful mesh. But, the issue comes after it creates a mesh, one of the parts goes to it's flat pattern state. I can't analyze it at flat pattern, and I go back into the part, and suppress the flat pattern. Once, I suppress the flat pattern, it give me errors, about the part now cannot be unbent.
Then, I try to perform a static study, and just sits there processing. It is a small assembly, and something that shouldn't take that long to process.
What are my options with this part? It is a mirror of a part. Is there a way to break this "mirror" link? Would that help my analysis?
Thanks,
Richard
This is a very interesting issue...would that be possible to upload your files or a sample here?
