I just passed the CSWP exam and want to eventually try to get my CSWE. I see I need to pass 4 advanced topics before I can take my CSWE exam. What 4 topics do you suggest I take and why?
Pretty sure you only need CSWE if you want to work for a VAR.
Have a cold beer first
I already have weldments, advanced drawings and sheet metals - as these were easiest to do. and thanks to the subscription from work (and old style of vouchers for exams) still have credits on virtual tester account for simulation associate and professional, sustainable design, molds and surfaces. Just don't have time to do them, and don't work with them on daily basis.
But I would recomend to do the ones your good at - BUT... you will still need to know other topics on the CSWE - and that exam can only be taken at you VAR location (it's not online)
ps> Ian you could also have CSWE for your own satisfaction
Surfacing, Mold Tools, Sheet Metal and Surfacing. Needless to say I'm struggling with surfacing.
Honestly, you can likely take any advanced topics that speak to you and it should hopefully be something you're passionate about.
