Flat stairs

I use SW to design staircases, and it is a great opportunity to use parametric modelling so that you can tweak them into an optimum solution within the enclosing space I cannot share an actual model but you might like to see this, which shows one way equations can be used to create the geometry. In this simple sketch part I was exploring a way of specifying the stair geometry by setting the 'total rise' and choosing a 'target rise' and 'going'. The part also has some recommendations from UK building regs included so that it's easy to check. It's not much practical use - it was just an experiment I did a while back and I'm happy to share it.
For a single straight flight like this it is easy enough to create the solids/parts using patterns, but it depends what you want to do. From my experience staircases are rarely this simple.
