HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED....
that the standard appearances in solidworks are not very bright? for instance, you click "white" to make a part white and it gets a half a shade lighter than the default gray. the whitest white (255,255,255) is still very dull and dim.
you can make a part "brighter" by adjusting the luminosity value in the advanced tab. but if i'm correct, i believe that this actually makes the part "emit" light. you're making the part luminescent.
i just want a little brighter in my bright colors.
and i'm just talking about modeling parts. building an assembly. i have 23 parts make these parts gray, these parts blue, these parts red, these parts white... but the colors display very dark and muddled.
anyone know what i'm talking about? anyone know an EASY solution?
"in the appearances tab, just check this box or adjust this value" -- easy solution
"turn on real view/ambient occlusion and create a light box..." -- not worth the effort
