At my last job we were able to run simulations and I remember solidworks alerting me that not all materials have been assigned.  It then displayed a list or table showing which parts did not have materials assigned.

At my current job, we only have the plain old vanilla solidworks.  I've tried creating a bom with a materials column, but we don't enter the materials into the file properties, so those cells remain empty.

Is there a way to view a bom or table that will display which parts have materials assigned to them?
