I want to cover the slop end. Is it possible to do by using cap end? Part file is attached.
There is a another way to do. Making solid body and using shell command. But I wish to know whether this way is possible.
Can you open this part?
Usually, there are several ways to model a 3D part. Try all and pick the one you like most
Something a little different Add Plane A
Then Plane B
Add Boss Extrude - Sketch on Plane A (convert Entities of the Surface-Extrude1) and Extrude "Up To" Plane B
And then Shell
In order to use the CAP END as part of your surface extrude ... You could add a surface before the extrude, then use it to "extrude up to surface".
I did this exactly the way you did and then I thought I would go thru the rest of the answers before posting.
Here is another approach not using surfacing that ends with a consistent 5mm thickness. If you section the other example file above you will see the base is not 5mm but 5.01mm.
If you review the split and shell approach it is at 5mm.

Where can I find this split tool? I know split line tool only.
Go into the menu Insert | Features | Split...
I was wondering which program you uses to make this notation art ?
It looks very similar to what I use. It's a screen capture tool called screenspresso
There are a number of different programs but I'm asking everybody just to get an idea what's the most popular. Thank you.
