Just as the title says I would like to enable the get command within windows explorer so users can cache specific versions of files they would like to view. Unfortunately our IT department has some tight reins on the EPDM admin tool and I cannot just explore for this so if you know the answer and can post a screenshot of the page that has this option in it that would be extra awesome! Thanks!
Hey Aaron Torberg ,
Consider also that if your vault admins have set the setting "Always work with latest version files" enabled for users, it is not possible to open/view other versions of the files in the explorer window, even if you enable the get version -shortcut.

Select Auto select reference files to get latest when checking out, Always work with latest version of files and Enable the get version command in SOLIDWORKS Add-in.
The software automatically retrieves the latest version of all references if the latest version is not in the local cache.
However, users who want to work with an earlier version of a reference can use the Get command in the SOLIDWORKS add-in to open a dialog box where they can choose the version of the file to get.
