Hi everybody,
Is there a way to make a double mirroring (using two planes) for a more quickly placement in corners (I'm thinking about holes, ribs, screws, etc.)?
For me the usual workflow is to create the detail in Corner1, then I mirror it and get it in Corner2 and then mirror them again to reach Corner3 and Corner4.
Could I do that with a single feature?
I try not to mirror sketch entities and I don't think sketch mirror works better than body mirror, but it would also be acceptable for me if there is a way...
Thanks!!
There currently isn't a way to mirror in two directions with one operation. For mirroring bodies, two mirrors is probably about as good as it's going to get. However, you mentioned screws. For hardware, I usually create the holes with the Hole Wizard feature, and I typically have an independent sketch, using the Centerpoint Rectangle sketch tool. Then I place my Hole Wizard locations at the corners of this rectangle. In the Assembly I can place one group of hardware, such as a bolt, nut, and two washers, and then use the "Pattern Driven Component Pattern" function to place the rest.
