I have an assembly of a tank which I have applied a cartesian nonuniform distributed pressure of 9810 N/m2 to the internal sides of the tank. Starting at a co-ordinate system I created at the level of the water in the tank, and increasing in pressure in 'y'. I am pretty sure I have put all the connectors in properly but I am still getting the excessive displacements error?

I would really appreciate it if someone could take a look at my model and let me know where Im going wrong?

Many thanks

Craig

Hi Craig,

I looked through your study setup and I think I found the source of the large displacement. In the definition of the pressure you have set the pressure to be 9810 N/m^2 but in the Nonuniform Distribution settings the units are set to millimeters. If you set the Nonuniform Distribution units to meters and then rerun the study you will get ~8.8432 mm of displacement instead of ~8.8 km.
