We’ve developed an optimization tool called CORTIME and it’s designed to work inside SolidWorks. We started developing CORTIME because we saw a need in the market for an optimization tool that was simple to use. At the same time, it would have to be powerful enough to add real value. Like many engineers and designers, we realized that despite wanting to optimize, time constraints very often made this impossible. We think we may have a tool here that will save time and help explore the solution space for better designs while utilizing the power of optimization technology.

sounds interesting. SOLIDWORKS Simulation already has a very straightforward interface and features optimization using two different DOE algorithms (Box-Behnken and Rechtschafner). What's the algorithms used by CORTIME ?
What would be the main differences respect to Simulation Optimization ?
I'll make one example: can it create a response surface (Simulation currently cannot do it) ?
