I created a simple square, extrude it and make an assembly for it. For some reason I can't do linear component pattern to stack up the pieces. I use mirror feature instead. When I pattern this way then the pattern works. Does anyone know what happen?
What error are you getting? I do not see a reason for linear pattern in assembly.
There was no error. No preview either. Usually when you pattern something there is a preview. I want to stack up this part to make a cube. Thanks
If you're doing linear pattern in part mode then make sure you pick bodies and not features.
Do a linear pattern of 2, then do a circular pattern of the original and the linear pattern 4 times.
