I have run in to this issue a few times but decided to find out this time if this is a bug.

Whenever an assembly BOM is created with a part that has 'Bill of Materials Options' set to ' Configuration name' instead of 'Document name', it doesn't get updated even though I go back to the part and change the setting to display 'Document name'.

However, the table will get updated if I select 'User Specified Name' and switch it back to 'Configuration name' but not if I select 'Document name'.

The only work-around I have figured out is deleting the BOM table, going back to the part configuration properties to change the setting to 'Document Name' and then inserting the BOM table again.

I'm not sure if anyone else has run in to this problem and whether this is bug. Any input is appreciated.
