This is a very hard bug for us to reproduce and have only seen it on very rare occasions. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Mine was originally imported with motion studies. That had many other issues. The case I am showing is after I only imported the models and recreated all the motions within Viz.

While I can't be absolutely certain without specific data sets, we had a variety of similar reports re: geometry with imported motion studies, being flipped or out of position (or "hidden" due to being out of position)...only in rendered (fast or accurate) modes.
We have pushed fixes to 2017 sp03 for this issue, which should be available soon. EV should be out in a week or two I believe.
