My setup is a Razer Blade Stealth with a Razer Core Thunderbolt 3.0 External Graphics Enclosure running Windows 10 64-Bit, I have installed an NVidia Quadro K620 card using the 354.35 driver from the SolidWorks certified driver web page. However, I am struggling to get SolidWorks to recognise the card, when I run SolidWorks Rx, the integrated Intel HD 620 is the default graphics used (as shown below). The only way I have managed to get the card to run (and how I know it works) is to disable the integrated graphics in the Windows Device Manager.

I have seen posts suggesting to change the 3D settings on the nVidia Control Panel, however on opening the control panel, I have found I do not have the 3D settings section. Is there any way to retrieve these settings?

I have also tried the graphics drivers direct from NVidia, which do have the 3D settings in the nVidia Control panel. I have tried changing the preferences for SolidWorks to run with the Quadro card, and also changing the OpenGL Global settings to the same, still SolidWorks does not priorities the Quadro card.

Has anybody had a similar experience with the Quadro K620, or any other Quadro card? I'm sure its just a case of getting the correct driver and settings combination but I'm not quite there. Any help would be massively appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt
