Using 2017, trying to make a cam and mate a follower.  Use toolbox cam function to create cam.  Tried to arcs box checked and unchecked but when I try to mate this in an assembly i get the following error - "The selected faces do not form a closed and continuous cam extruded from a single profile".  I also tried cutting the cam both with thin profile as the solidworks cam creation does and as an extruded cut offsetting the sketch created.  Taking these sketch entities and using sketch tools path didn't seem to do anything either.  What am I missing?
