Thanks, that looks interesting. But I want to make the actual BOM balloon non-transparent. It must keep it's link with the BOM.
As Glenn replied I don't think that is possible... You would need to create the mask layer described in the link.. then place the layer over the spot you want to cover then put the BOM balloon over that.. If you need to do this often wouldn't be most efficient.. but may work for onesies twosies..
Thanks for that tip. At this point I will simply avoid putting the balloons over objects - but in my case at least, it would be extremely useful if it was "built in". As John suggested, I will add it to the wish list for next year.
In AutoCAD, masking is very easy to add in dimensions, text and balloon leaders. So hopefully SWX can implement it in the near future.
That would have been an awesome SW Top Ten Voting - keep that in mind for next year...
