OK, there is something that has bugged me for a while, and I am finally getting around to asking all the experts out there to see if:

1) Does anyone else have this issue?

2) How can I make this issue go away?

Here is the issue:

I use the "S" shortcut key ALL THE TIME!

However, when I select a dimension, the little "Dimension Palette" symbol appears.

While I don't mind that the Dimension Palette is there, the issue is that the "S" shortcut key does not work while the dimension palette symbol is displayed.

I have to move the mouse AWAY from the dimension to make the dimension palette symbol go away, then hit the "S" shortcut key.

(In my "S" shortcut toolbar, I have the command for creating Feature control frames, so when making dimensions with them I always have to hit the "S" key, realize that the dimension palette symbol is up, move the mouse, and then hit the "S" key again.)

As far as I can tell, this is the ONLY place that the "S" shortcut key will not work.
