Start a 3d sketch. Use convert entities to convert the spiral to a sketch entity. Add an arc to one end of it, and then a straight line on the other end of the arc. Add a tangent relation at each endpoint of the arc, add relations so that the straight line is going down the center of the spiral, and you're done.
Edit: I got to thinking, and you'll need two arcs, not one. See below.
Will that work if I want to use it as as a path for a sweep or loft?
Sweep path will work. SWX2017 even let's you choose the path without a profile sketch and gives you options for circle or square/rectangular profile. Easy peasy.
