The outlined system requirements call for an 8gb HDD. Just curious as to whether or not anyone has experience running the software on less tham recommended RAM. Thanks.
Hi Zac ,
If the software runs on 4GB of RAM it is going to be painstakingly slow and probably crashy.
I have used machines with the minimum recommendations and they are still not optimal for performance. when is comes to SOLIDWORKS the more RAM the better.
I need a new machine altogether. It's just a basic all-in-one. Barely able to browse web pages without interruption.
What are the specs for the rest of the system Zac?
If its up to the task of running SW then an investment in a few new sticks of RAM is essential for your sanity even if it does run.
If the rest of your system is similarly lacking capacity, you'll need a new machine.
Yeah, I figured it was a shot in the dark. I need a more robust machine. This setup is very minimal.
Thanks a ton!
