Hem Relief

I have a part that needs to be hemmed on 4 sides. The problem I have is that the hem binds in the corners. I thought i could just unfold the hem and then cut the corners back as need in the flat. I cannot get this to work. Any help would be appreciated.

A quick alternative is to include the hem into the Miter Flange, but that would entail adding the notches separately.

    Thank you. Unfortunately I cannot open your file because I am still using 2007. I figured out that I could use a split line feature to make the relief in the corner. Do you have any idea why that hem won't flatten?

The problem lies in the Bend Deduction Allowance. If a K-factor is used, the part flattens OK.
