Maybe I'm showing my age, and the lack of standards my company abides by, but I can't find how to add the standard text for a centerline, the crossed C&L. Is this just old school? is anybody still using this? did I miss something?
It's in the Note editor, under "Text Format", the 3rd of 4 boxes under the angle box. The hover texts says "Add symbol"
I still use C/L - old fashion or not
edit: - I have mine set up as a note and in my Design Library folder, so it is a very easy drag and drop right where I need it...
In addition to what Ian shows you may have to go to Modifying Symbols.
Man, you have to be fast to beat these guys.
I'm with you, I still use it.
I don't know what they teach the young guys these days, but to me it makes the drawing very clear and if you have hidden lines shown near the Center line it takes out any doubts of what is the center.
We make a lot of parts symmetrical and with a complex drawing it allows for dimensioning some features on one side of center and others on the other side to de-clutter the drawing.
