Hello,
I'm having issues with the Swept Boss command. For starters the "Swept Boss" is grayed out in my command tool?
Is this because I have the Basic Edition of Solidworks? Otherwise I thought I went about it the right way I created a 3D Sketch of
the profile for Roll Cage I'm modeling.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need two sketches to sweep something , a profile and a path.
Have a look at this swept triangle to understand.
You would be much better to model roll cage using the weldment tools so you can trim pipes to suit.
Actually, if you only want to sweep a circle, you don't need a profile. There's a "circular profile" checkbox in the feature editor which opens a "diameter" entry box.
For a swept boss you need a profile sketch and a path sketch, my guess is you have them both in the same sketch, you need separate sketches for the sweep feature...

It may be a bit more helpful if you can attach your part file(s) for people to look at and assess the situation properly. If there is more than one part or a lot of parts in an assembly then include all components in one 'zipped' (compressed) file and attach it as mentioned here at article number 18 of Forum Posting
