It will not show up in the agenda's - they only cover Monday - Wednesday.
It seems the Boot Camp is not really part of the "Official Training".
Someplace - I think it was near the end of the registration form was simply a checkbox if you were going to attend the Boot Camp.
I saw videos of segments of it from previous year proceedings (when they were still being posted) and someplace on the forum there is some information about it.
Last year I was able to go to SWW and went to the session (I think it was almost 4 hours).
It goes into what a cad admin should know about how to setup SolidWorks systems, types of computers and hardware (and why some are good and some are bad depending on your needs).
I got a great Christmas present this year that was unexpected - I am getting to go to SWW 2017 in LA this year.
I have requested that I go early just so I can again go to the Boot Camp.
If you are just a single user it may not be that important but it will teach you how to setup an efficient, fast system and do's and don'ts for setting up as well as software considerations.
I think it is worth it, so I am going again - even though we have only 4 users and we don't use PDM or network licenses.
I will see if I can find some of my old information or links and post them back here if I do.
Since your profile shows you are using a good computer your probably already know a lot of what hardware and why, but I am sure you would still find out or understand more of what's important and whats not with the hardware.
This is a few years old (I think 2008) but this has information from one of the boot camps back then when Greg Jankowski was doing these.
A post from Steve Calvert about what time it will be on Sunday this year (2017)
A few older posts from Greg Jankowski from segmenst of the boot camp
the sign up for the Boot Camp is in the SWW registration section right after you enter all your personal information and contact details.
It is one of the check boxes.
If you checked YES - then you are signed up for it and will not see any other indication to that.
Even if you couldn't go back and sign up (if you hadn't originally) I am sure you can still just go in (with your SWW registration). - It's open seating
It is under Attendee Details - I think you can go back and edit this after you have completed the registration - but not sure.
Thanks for all the info, Rick.
I forgot what I checked off on that page during registration... looks like I'm already signed up for it !!!
I guess I'll see you there!
Glad I could help.
See you there.
