I have a small general table in a drawing. Tryed to save it in excel but failed.
Anybody seen this and what's wrong / how to get it in excel?
Apparently, when SW tries to save out the table to an Excel format, it gets hung up on the equal signs. If I remove them from the table, it saves out just fine.
May be a Problem with 32/64bit Office-Installation?
Good point! We have 32 bit office and that might cause some trouble.
Anyway ... succeeded to save in csv and got it with "text to columns".
I tried on my SW2016(64bit) SP5 with Excel 2010 (32bit) and it's working fine
Try to update and see if that help
Find attached a drawing with a table that I failed. Can you handle this one?
Try this attached file
Either it may be the table format or content space issue
I am not sure what's causing the save error
John George, so you removed the space between the equal sign and number. You can type as many spaces between the equal sign and the number in Excel without issue; interesting.
It's really interesting, couldn't understand the real reason behind the issue
I could save even after the extra space
could be an SW or Office update/setting. What version of office (excel) are you running?
MS Office 2010
Excel: version 14.0.7166 (32bit)
