Hello, I want to make a rectangular box hole in the middle of the curved surface of the following mouse model. I tried Extruded Cut via several features but it does not work. Could you please let me know how to go about it? Thanks.

Thanks all. The file is in the link provided.
The one I want is like a combination of the one mentioned by Deepak and Solid Air. I want a rectangular hole like the one Solid Air made but I want it to be in the middle of the curved surface like the one shown in the figure presented by Deepak.
I tried to use Insert->Reference Geometry->Plane to create a plane tangent to the curved surface. Then, I drew a rectangular on this tangent plane. Next, I used Extruded Cut to cut a hole. At the end, although the preview looked OK, after clicking the green check mark on the new tangent plane remains. The rest of the model disappeared. How come?
Hi Peter,
Can you offset the cut from one of your existing planes or create a new plane to perform the cut from?
Dave.
