This is what it is all about, design, render, go
This item took less than 60 seconds to render at best quality, less than 3 mins at Max. Would I go back to the days of tweaking a render for hours or days and endure the endless set up, render, change, render, change, render, run out of time routine??? Not a chance! Give me the new school render tools any day

Is that what I think it is....? Great render though Kevin!

I'm excited to see how this product develops in future releases.
Great render. PhotoView 360 is so cool. This is the way a photo-rendering tool like this should work and I am sure will get even better as SW makes enhancements.
Cheers,
Nice rendering!
Using the old "wisdom of the staircase" I think I have figured out what that is.
Isn't it one of those devices used on the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 to open into a dimension that no man has seen before?

It really does bring tears to your eyes!
A single core, old cpu architecture P4 will certainly be slow when it comes to rendering. No way around it, those cpu's are slow by today's standard.
If you want to get up to speed with rendering, or solid modeling in general, you need to get an up to date computer with current generation CPU technology. Core 2 Quad or better yet Core i7.
I have several posts on my blog about the new Core i7 cpu's from Intel.

Cheers,
It blows away my 2 year old Q6600 Quad core system. Computer technology moves so fast.
