have a premium licence of solidworks, but cannot activate visualise, just get error invalid serial, any ideas, also wont run in demo mode, just crashes

Have contacted the reseller, but its a bit late(UK) and I am hoping he hasn't closed down for Christmas!
We had the same problem with one of our copies of Visualize that the drafter had never actually used. We had to call our VAR they figured it out for us.
As others wrote, you need to contact VAR.
The 2017 visualize license number should be available from your customerportal account.
Sorry to hear you are having this issue. What version of SW CAD are you running currently? What version of Visualize are you trying to license?
We made several back-end changes to download/install/license between Visualize 2016 & 2017 versions.
HI, Using solidworks 2017 sp1 premium, can only download Visualise 2016, which is where I though the issue may lie?

had to uninstall 2017, then download new installer, which gave me the option to add visualize serial and then install it, along with solidworks, thanks for all the help everyone, cheers
