Does anyone have experience with creating a flat pattern with relief cuts to form a wear plate that fits inside a 2:1 elliptical head? Or any dished plate in general? It would be similar to free forming sheetmetal on an english wheel for custom fab work. However, this is 1/2" thk stainless that will be bumped on the press brake in two directions. I will need to add relief cuts to form the dish in direction of the progressive radii. Thanks for any input.
