Not enough memory - See help

Trying to render in SW2009 when I get not enough memory error. Dialog box tells me to see the hellp file to fix this problem. Select the help button in the error box and nothing happens. Simplified the part to a simple square and I get the same error.

Any suggestions on how to fix this memory issue?

First run with 2009 so installation settings are still valid.

Maybe you need more memory?

I'm having the same issue. My model has 40 parts in it and I'm running with 4 GB of RAM.

Carmelo,

Do you have the /3GB switch enabled?

Google searching, or searching these forums will give you plenty of info

  I had a similar issue recently. The cause was a very large HDR image I was using (several MB). I re-sampled it to about a half MB to stop the memory error.
  
  Also, setting your 'Image Quality' (the one that makes your models rounder) too high can cause huge increases in memory consumption.

Do you have the Enable Memory Settings box checked in the PhotoWorks options under the System Options tab? If not, try checking it. If you do, try un-checking it and then re-checking it. I'm not sure why, but that has always solved my not enough memory errors.

  I can remember when I had to reselect the Indirect Illumination setting(Draft/Midium...) from the rendering property dialog as well as the Environment Reflection amount from Scene Dialog each time starting the solidworks.. 2008
