I have numerous drawings I created, each of which is a section view of an assembly, think boat lofting, a support cradle so to speak. Now I want to create a part from each of these drawings, wooden formers if you can picture that. I cannot figure out an easy way to import the drawing to my part creation sketch. I get an error message when I try to copy and paste, not sure if that is because the drawing is a section view? I have been able to cut an paste before. The only workaround I have done so far is to save the drawing as a .dxf, then import the .dxf to a new part creation. But then somehow the drawing is scaled up by 40:1 and I have to then scale it back down. I'm sure I am missing an easy path to get this done, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
