When I launch SWX Explorer, I get a log in screen for PDM
works. When I did the install for 2007, I did not install PDM as we
do not presently use this. Can I get this message to go away. Or do
I have to midify the installation of SW?
There is an option in SW Explorer 2007 to disable the
PDMWorks add-in. I don't have 2007 installed at the moment, but I'm
sure it was in "Tools > Options" or suchlike.
We don't use PDMWorks either, and there doesn't seem to be
any way to install Explorer without the PDMWorks add-in. There is
an option EXPLORERORPDM that can be passed to the installer (=0
disables PDMWorks), but it doesn't work. Passed this onto my VAR -
yet to get a reply......
There is a setting under Options, Add-ins. If you un-check
the PDMworks workgroup you should be fine.
Also keep in mine that Explorer uses e-drawings to view files. We
have one seat off office and everytime someone opened explorer, it
would use e-drawings pro. There is a setting in e-drawings to turn
that off as well.
