Non-workstation quality laptop for SW

I have read many posts about hardware requirements for using SW and it seems to focus mostly around graphics cards. Workstation level laptops have OpenGL and everyday laptops don't.

I want a laptop for everyday use and to use SW at home for small projects. No large assemblies, no complex parts, no need to have more than one or two windows open at a time, and no need for RealView.

Is anyone out there successfully running SW on a more off the shelf type laptop with a lessor graphics card like a GeoForce or Nvidia NVS level card?

Does anyone know if PhotoView 360 needs OpenGL?

Recommendations on models?

Thanks in advance.
