I have convert the STL format into many tiny surfaces by using Scan to 3D module but there are some failed surfaces were deleted, how to fix these holes and gaps between the surfaces? Many Thanks!!!The attachment is the surface file.

Hello Thomas,
There is an art to using Scanto3d and it takes some patience and practice. I assumed that you used the "automatic surface" option. Did you first clean up your import using mesh wizard? It also looks like you did not set the resolution of automatic surface high enough. Also, when generating automatic surfaces in Scanto3D there is an option to reassign the Feature lines between boundaries to get patches in the model to close. It is usually a problem when a converted mesh's polyline vertex invert on the mesh - i.e. high rate of curvature when converted to surface. Attached is my hand that I did back in 2006 when I was PM for Scanto3D using automatic surface creation and scanned in with NextEngine.
